Emirates Group is mobilising nearly 24,000 employees for Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026, which runs from 31 October to 29 November. The aviation employer marked the event's tenth edition with an underwater activity at The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm, where four members of its scuba diving club unveiled a sign on 1 November. The month-long campaign asks participants to complete 30 minutes of physical activity daily for 30 days.

Community events and registration targets#

The Group has registered employees for Dubai Ride on 1 November and is targeting over 4,000 registrations for Dubai Run on 22 November, compared with 3,200 participants in 2025. A corporate fitness session is scheduled at Za'abeel Park Fitness Village for close to 300 employees. The events connect internal participation with the wider Dubai fitness calendar and are supported by more than 20 sports and hobby clubs within the organisation.

Club competitions across November#

Fixtures for the Emirates Engineering Cricket Club begin 4 November as part of the official Dubai Fitness Challenge tournament. Dubai Ride will include the Emirates Road Cycling Club, and the Emirates Paddling Club is scheduled for the fourth Dubai Stand Up Paddle event across 7 and 8 November. A tournament running 4 to 26 November will feature the Emirates Group Basketball Club. The clubs cover water-based activities, road cycling, cricket pitches and indoor basketball courts.

DP World operates Fitness Village at Kite Beach#

The DP World 30x30 Fitness Village at Kite Beach opened to the public on 31 October, offering activities including the Amazon Rebounder trampoline workouts, the Nissan Navara Pro Obstacle Course, and the DP World Cricket Arena. Beach soccer, beach volleyball and basketball courts are available, alongside the Wasl Padel Arena and the Emirates Skate Park. Fitness zones include Puff spin sessions, circuit training, and DIEZ boxing and mixed martial arts. The CBD Wellness area offers slower-paced sessions, with dedicated Whoop Pilates, Body Work and Lift zones. A Talabat Playground provides activities for younger visitors, and a main stage hosts group fitness classes throughout the challenge.

Employee wellbeing programme and travel reward#

Employee wellbeing information will be shared through Sehaty, the Group's year-round health programme, covering fitness, nutrition and mental wellbeing advice. The Group is using community events, team sports, workplace wellbeing sessions and a travel-based incentive to drive employee involvement. The programme aligns employee health with the city's objective of embedding daily physical activity into routine life.
