Sharjah Investment Forum 2026 will convene on October 14–15 at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre under the theme Building Adaptive Economies. The two-day forum is organised by the Sharjah FDI Office in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Investment and will bring together policymakers, investors and business leaders to examine regulatory competitiveness, artificial intelligence, industrial transformation, capital flows and supply-chain security.

Forum agenda and participation#

The forum will address technology, markets and global trade. The previous edition of Sharjah Investment Forum recorded attendance of more than 12,000 participants from 142 countries, with more than 130 ministers and international leaders present. Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah, stated that the forum will address policy, technology and investment questions.

Regulatory competitiveness and economic adaptability#

The forum's first pillar will address policy, business conditions and corporate leadership as markets, technology and investment patterns shift. Sessions will include Thriving in the Age of Constant Disruption, which will address how entrepreneurial thinking and agility can help businesses respond to technological and market shifts, and The CEO Playbook: Leading Through Constant Change, which will focus on navigating volatility and capital allocation. A session titled Where Policy Meets Pace: Frameworks Ahead of the Curve will address how coordinated policy can respond to changing capital and trade flows and support emerging industries.

Investment policy measures and business growth#

UNCTAD's World Investment Report 2026 records that 229 new investment policy measures were adopted by governments worldwide in 2025, addressing growth, resilience, technological progress and economic security. A session titled Beyond Ease of Doing Business: Building Economies Where Businesses Grow will address investor retention and expansion, including government services. The forum will address policy, capital and innovation in relation to economic growth during periods of change.
