Mannai Corporation, the Qatar-listed technology services provider, has opened a regional headquarters in Riyadh to serve digital infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The company is deploying capabilities in connected platforms, stadium technology, AI and cybersecurity developed through delivery work in the Gulf, according to Sumanta Roy, Group ICT President at Mannai Corporation, speaking at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh.

Mannai Information Technology operates across connected stadiums, buildings and airports. The company describes itself as relatively new to Saudi Arabia and is using LEAP 2026 to introduce its brand and showcase work delivered across the GCC. The company's stadium work covers in-venue connectivity, digital content delivery, instant replay systems and performance monitoring systems that track athlete data including movement, nutrition, weight and overall performance metrics.

Technology services address four sports segments and infrastructure applications#

The company's sports technology offering addresses four distinct segments. The first focuses on athletes and performers, using data to monitor factors such as nutrition, weight, movement and overall performance. Similar technologies support motorsport by analysing variables including weather and track conditions. The second area covers the in-stadium experience, including connectivity, content delivery, instant replays and other digital services. The third segment addresses the wider fan experience, covering how supporters follow teams, access replays, engage with events and purchase merchandise. The fourth area concerns aspiring athletes, where technology helps a young footballer assess physical development, identify the most suitable playing position and access personalised coaching through professional coaches or AI-powered training platforms.

Mannai's connected-platform work extends beyond sports to citizen services, education and healthcare applications. The company positions its infrastructure capabilities as supporting use cases that require secure, scalable foundations designed to work across multiple sectors. Roy stated that Saudi Arabia has an opportunity to build digital infrastructure from the ground up rather than retrofitting older systems, establishing what he described as a strong digital spine that supports use cases across industries.

Expansion targets Gulf and North Africa markets from new regional base#

Mannai Corporation is expanding its footprint across the Gulf, the wider Middle East and Africa, with particular focus on new opportunities in North Africa and the Gulf region, Roy stated. The company describes its Saudi entry as bringing decades of regional delivery experience to the Kingdom's infrastructure development phase. The Riyadh headquarters opening establishes a base for serving projects requiring stadium connectivity, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities. Mannai Information Technology presented its connected-platform capabilities at LEAP 2026, where Roy discussed the company's work in an interview with TahawulTech.
