Global Village Season 31 opens at 6pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, and will run until May 2027. Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority has announced four dedicated bus routes connecting the attraction to major transport hubs across the emirate, operating every 40 to 60 minutes throughout the season.

Four bus routes connect key transport hubs#

The RTA will operate Route 102 from Al Rashidiya Bus Station with buses departing every 60 minutes, Route 103 from Union Bus Station every 40 minutes, Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station every 60 minutes, and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station every 60 minutes. The routes aim to improve access for visitors arriving from across Dubai, with a focus on families and tourists relying on public transport. Each bus includes modern amenities and safety features. The RTA stated the routes support its work to strengthen links between Dubai's tourism and entertainment sites and to increase public transport use.

Electric abra services return for the season#

The RTA will bring back its water transport service at Global Village, running two electric abras. The vessels will carry visitors on leisure trips through the attraction's waterways, offering views of the site's facilities and entertainment zones. The RTA stated the service pairs transport with sightseeing and advances its work on sustainable mobility and cleaner transport.

Season 31 features 29 pavilions and new attractions#

Global Village Season 31 includes 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, along with more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 dining options. The season will operate from 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. Weekday tickets are priced at Dh25, while weekend tickets cost Dh30. New attractions this season include Tokyo Rush, a roller coaster with sharp turns and a loop opening later in the season, two new anchor shows titled Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist, and the stunt show Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back. New restaurants include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking, alongside three new cafés: Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café.

Visitor services expanded across the site#

Global Village has introduced a Kids Passport alongside the redesigned Season 31 Passport, with stamping stations in all 29 pavilions. The attraction has added more ticket counters at the Happiness Gate, new bilingual Arabic and English signs at the Gate of the World, and additional Family POD washrooms across the site. VIP parking users can now pay at new self-service machines before reaching the exit points. A WhatsApp chatbot will be available for visitors to message for information and help during their visit. The Sri Lanka Pavilion and the Russia and Azerbaijan Pavilion have been refreshed, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions return with new façades. Tickets are available on the Global Village website and app, and at the gates from October 14.
